I Woke Up to This:”Fuckin cheap jew fuck”

Morning Folks!!

I like to find out what people are made out of in minutes not years. When they are no good, I want to find out ASAP. So check out this story.

I get an email this morning for eBid.com.

The first one goes like this:

'Would you please just sell your domain to ebid and stop wasting everyones time.'

I respond:

This is the first thing you do on a Monday morning?

Waste MY time.

What part of NOT FOR SALE don't you understand??

What's it to you anyways?? Is it any business of yours?

I get this:

'Just wanted to see if this was a real email address. I have a client (not ebid) willing to pay 1.7 million for the name. Are we close on the number?'

I respond:

'Not without an ongoing revenue stream.'

I get this:

'Just as I thought. Have a good one.'

I respond:

'Whatever you say,

Lame and you are just not credible.

Have a nice life!'

And then the mask comes off and I get this:

'What’s with the name calling? Fuckin cheap jew fuck'

On the record for the record!

What the hell is wrong with people! I went through this shit in Jr. High, High school and even college. Seems ignorance is alive and well and living in cyber & domainer space. Send him my way Ricky, I have a few choice phrases that would most definately apply here. :>(

Wow, who in the hell is emailing you something like that? If that’s someone who is being retained by eBid they need to be fired immediately and the company owes you an apology to say the very least. Rick do you know the identity of the person who sent you these emails?
I’m not naive enough to think that there aren’t ignorant people like that in this world, but usually bigots stay somewhat hidden, at least professionally. Hate speech like that is just incredibly shocking no matter how often people are exposed or witness to it.
Unfortunately the internet gives some people the feeling of being insulated from the repercussions of their actions or words. Rick if you have the means to, I feel that it is important that this person be exposed for what they are to the domain and business community.

Keyboard warriors don’t have the same bravado in person. Invite him to TRAFFIC to see if he can say the same things in person.

As you know, he was no legitimate negotiator. He just wanted to get you riled up. He had no buyer at all.
I’d take his insult as a compliment. What it really means on a whole is that jews are smarter than your average Joe. Everyone knows it. Of course, there are many exceptions. (Disclaimer: I have no Jewish blood). He’s just mad you were smarter than him
Acro, IMO, you should quit asking people to say something to your face. Someday someone will and it might not be pretty. Even if you win, you lose.

No worries, I’m 6ft 2″ / 200 lbs plus had military training. :-) On a serious note, racial epithets are used by cowards. To receive an”offer” with no backing, adds to the coward profile. I hope Rick posts the sender’s email, such”professionals” have no place in our industry or any other for that matter.

Go back and look at the complete e-mail path source code and then start checking all the IP addresses and see if it leads to any known party. We’ve had a number of fake domain brokers, fake domain lawyers, you name it, make phoney offers or send us phony but real looking C&D letters on purported law firm stationery and demand to transfer domains to them. It’s fun to catch them and tell them they are not listed anywhere or ask them what else they do illegally behind their stealth VPN’s.

There are not many that can blow off a $1.7Million offer and then unveil a guy as a faker in a few emails.
Love your style Rick. Just love it! Thanks for the lesson. I’ll never get an offer like that and if I did I would pee in my pants.

I wouldn’t even waste your breath with such people. Credible offers come with credible email addresses and specifics on the offer. If people want the domain and have real money then they will show it eventually. If I answered all the spam offers I get I’d spend endless hours over the year dealing with tire kickers.

I’m 6 ft and 550 lbs and laugh at people even if they have a knife. It just tickles when they stab me before I rip them in two.
