Down, dirty, raw. I callout CEOs by name. I explain the difference between a hard-working Founder and a CEO looking for a 2-5 year gig. Explosive interview. I'll let the video do the talking.
I will note that the discussion about the $2.8 Billion company was about the sale of Bird.com and noting that the CEO of Bird.co passed up this once in a lifetime opportunity. I simply did the math and noted he was losing a MINIMUM of $140 million ANNUALLY in lost revenue simply because of confusion at only a 5% loss from the .co to .com. DUMB!!!
i had always thought that vanity phone numbers was where you originally realized the value of easy to remember domains. back in 1999 when you were on ebay as mr800king i used to follow what you were buying and bidding on. now i know i was right. great interview.
That was a good discussion. What was that beverage in the green bottle that looked like ginger ale or Sprite? Diet or regular?
Simple, concise, and spot on. What else would we expect from Rick.
Thank you Your Majesty. :)
Rick ! you are Cyber squatter . You stole so many people spaces.
Thank you Rick. This was spot on.
Great interview. Unfortunately I think the mainstream will NEVER get the value of great names. Amazed though at the property taxes in FL, sure no state income tax, but they still claw it in via other methods.
