It’s All in The Mind. Failure Happens before you Even Start and HERE is the PROOF!

Morning Folks!!

I hope you are enjoying some of these posts. We are still in 2007 but this one actually happened in 2000. So you will see a post I made in 2000 combined with one I made in 2007 and have not varied here in 2011. The domainer I am talking to 3 YEARS before Frank Schilling ever registered his first domain name PROVES that the title of this post is accurate.

If you think you can you are right and if you think you can't you are right.

Have a GREAT Day!

Great post Rick and so very true.
I just made a post on Facebook with a quote from the late great James Rohn which I think works in well with what you have just said.
Something to think about for the start of 2011 and the rest of your life for that matter.
One of my favorite quotes of all time by Jim Rohn, he was one of the wisest people I have ever listened to and feel very privileged to have met him before he passed away:
“What we ponder and what we think about sets the course of our life. Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish, we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish, we can start a new activity. Any day we wish, we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.
“We can also do nothing. We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence.
The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause. As Shakespeare uniquely observed,”The fault is not in the stars, but in ourselves.” We created our circumstances by our past choices. We have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices beginning today.”

    Hello Rick,
I agree with most everything you say. The value of the past is really tied to the present. The past learning experiences are most valuable when you learn from your mistakes and Fail Forward to the present.
Create,Re-evaluate,Create, The secret to success is to be fully PRESENT. The present is the foundation of your future. The present moment is the only time in which you create and manifest the future.

Really nice post. I have just started with domains this past year and have made 8700 in sales! All because I had a dream of becoming domainer. Now my portfolio website is getting already 200 uniques per day. I do not know as much as Rick or others, but I have a dream and determination. Welcome to the matrix, it is all code :). Rafal

    Classic. My favorite part:
“But of course, the person with the money would see it otherwise.
    That’s just my opinion.”
Perhaps there’s a reason why the person with the money…is the person with the money. LOL.
Bet he wishes he would’ve listened now. Serious schmuck.
