The countdown is on as the last few days before TRAFFIC and our 10th Anniversary year begins!

Maybe it would be a good time to discuss the problem that this industry has with bogus domain buyers.
I left a message on many other blogs and with sedo, godaddy, flippa, and domainnamesales on this but its seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
I keep hearing how domain names and websites are considered internet property and real estate, the why isn’t it treated as such. In the real world of selling property and deposit is required.
People…the days of doing business on a hand shake is over, but it seems that the domain industry still works on the honor system, trusting that a person that buys your domain will pay. If a deposit of 10% is a requirement to move forward in the sale, and if you default you lose your deposit, they would think before they buy.
